On January 12, 2023, at about 11:24 a.m., ISP Det. Jake Schwecke and I interviewed ███████ at Washington State University in ████████████████████████████████████ The following is a summary of the interview, for full details listen to the audio recording. She first met KOHBERGER at orientation right before classes started for the semester. C. She did not talk to KOHBERGER much at orientation but thought he came across as pretentious. D. KOHBERGER was routinely one to two minutes late to ████████████████████████ Professor ██████ was unhappy with this behavior and publicly scolded KOHBERGER on one occasion for being late. E. KOHBERGER approached her in September for help grading a case brief. By that time, KOHBERGER had a reputation of " being a dick ". She perceived KOHBERGER as kind of quiet, well-read, and fairly well-spoken. G. KOHBERGER dressed very smartly, i.e. khakis or nice jeans with a collared button-down shirt. H. The following are examples of complaints she had heard against KOHBERGER: 1. He was disrespectful towards his professors. 2. He instigated contentious arguments in class. 3. He expressed concern over the progeny of one of their classmates that had a hearing disability. 4. He was an ableist. 5. He only talked back to or criticized female professors and students, so he is sexist. 6. He thinks highly of himself and doesn't interact well with other people. I. After talking with her friends and coworkers in the department, she feels very strongly that KOHBERGER is an incel (involuntary celibate) and he thinks he deserves female sexual companionship. J.
