FOR JANUARY 23 AND 24 HEARINGS

The hearings set for January 23 and 24, 2025 in this matter will proceed as follows:
Starting at 9:00 a.m. on January 23, 2025, the Court will take up testimony related to Defendant's Motion to Suppress re: Genetic Information (" IGG ") and Defendant's Motion for Franks Hearing insofar as it regards the IGG investigation. As indicated in the Court's oral ruling, this portion of the hearing will be closed / sealed.¹ Following the close of this evidence, the Court will take up the following matters, which will be live-streamed on a feed available to the public², subject to the Court's determination to close any portion of that hearing by turning off the live-stream feed as necessary³:
a. Testimony related to the Defendant's remaining motions to suppress;
b. Arguments on Defendant's motions to suppress, and;
c. Arguments on the Defendant's Motion to Compel.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
The Court's oral ruling will be followed by a written order.
2 The Trial Court Administrator will cause a notice to be sent to the media and public via the Idaho Supreme Court's Social Media Accounts advising when the closed proceedings have concluded and estimating when the live stream proceedings will begin.
3 The courtroom itself will not be open to the public because of the need to revert to sealed proceedings on and off throughout the hearing.
