SPEAKER_00: I'm one of the campus officers, so I'm at home football games and stuff, basketball games. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_01: I was gonna say, have SPEAKER_00: you also been, uh, surveilling the house? SPEAKER_00: Because I live right SPEAKER_01: next door. SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: I've been seeing you. SPEAKER_01: I felt like I've seen you. SPEAKER_00: Probably seen you out in the I've seen you in the house, uh, SPEAKER_01: because I want my SPEAKER_00: dog there every day. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: So, you know, Tyson said that you possibly saw saw something that morning. SPEAKER_00: I just have, like, um, basically after sorry. SPEAKER_00: Very good. SPEAKER_00: Um, do you happen to have a DL on you so I can get your info, or SPEAKER_01: I can verbally get it from you if SPEAKER_00: you don't have that? SPEAKER_00: Perfect. SPEAKER_00: Thank you. SPEAKER_00: Where do you live up there? SPEAKER_00: I live, uh, I live at SPEAKER_01: right there Up the hill. SPEAKER_01: Gotcha. SPEAKER_00: Sorry. SPEAKER_00: No. SPEAKER_00: You're good. SPEAKER_01: Are you doing? SPEAKER_01: So I'm So Okay. SPEAKER_01: That's probably where we've seen each other at. SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: I was trying to you can go ahead. SPEAKER_00: I know Tyson said that you might have seen something with the back door. SPEAKER_00: No. SPEAKER_00: It was the front door. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_01: Basically, kind of just put two and two together after the press conference yesterday. SPEAKER_01: I don't know how I I told him, I don't know how much this is really gonna contribute to the the case and all that. SPEAKER_01: I mean, it might just be something that you guys already know. SPEAKER_01: Mhmm. SPEAKER_01: Um, I can assure you, though, that 09:10AM, uh, I went to I went to walk my dog, and I didn't think anything of it. SPEAKER_01: Um, but I saw that door wide open, that front door. SPEAKER_00: The front door on the on the north side? SPEAKER_00: Like The SPEAKER_01: front door that's facing out towards campus. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: I guess that is north. SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: And that SPEAKER_00: was around nine to 10AM. SPEAKER_00: On Saturday? SPEAKER_00: On Sunday. SPEAKER_00: Sunday. SPEAKER_00: Sunday morning. SPEAKER_00: So that was about, give or take, two hours, um, before you before you guys arrived on the scene Uh-huh. SPEAKER_01: Before you guys saw anything or anything like that. SPEAKER_00: I look, uh, I put two SPEAKER_01: and two together during the press conference when I watched it last night, and I was like, man, I saw that on Sunday, and I didn't tell anybody yet. SPEAKER_01: Probably should. SPEAKER_01: Uh, I didn't think anything of it. SPEAKER_00: Know? SPEAKER_00: Did you see anyone coming and going, or it's just No. SPEAKER_00: Open? SPEAKER_00: No one around? SPEAKER_00: No one around or anything like that. SPEAKER_01: So if anything, it can probably assure you that it wasn't some type of burglary or anything like that. SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: But, I mean, yeah, I I honestly thought it was, hey. SPEAKER_01: The the neighbors probably had some people over. SPEAKER_01: They've had parties in the past, and someone got someone got drunk and probably left the door open. SPEAKER_01: Mhmm. SPEAKER_01: Or someone left the house and and, uh, and they were intoxicated and didn't and forgot to close it. SPEAKER_01: I didn't go up and look. SPEAKER_01: Uh, I didn't go look for anything. SPEAKER_01: I didn't go try to close it. SPEAKER_01: I didn't walk in that area. SPEAKER_00: But You just notice it when you walk by. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: But I SPEAKER_01: told some people about it and, you SPEAKER_00: know, uh, talked to my talked to my SPEAKER_01: who's a and he's like, this is something that if I was on this case, I'd wanna know. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: Well, I appreciate that. SPEAKER_00: Awesome. SPEAKER_00: And then do you happen to you said you live at SPEAKER_01: what unit number are you in? SPEAKER_00: Do you happen to have any video surveillance outside your apartment? SPEAKER_01: No. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_01: I'm sorry. SPEAKER_01: No. SPEAKER_01: You're good. SPEAKER_01: I'm trying to think my neighbors do. SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: I think we've canvassed it pretty well. SPEAKER_00: Sometimes people have cameras that we don't see, though, but I think we've knocked on some doors, and we're just trying to split some pieces together. SPEAKER_00: But I was like, well, since you're here and you live right there, if you had cameras, that'd be awesome. SPEAKER_00: But I wish I did. SPEAKER_00: Nope. SPEAKER_00: You're good. SPEAKER_00: So when you SPEAKER_01: say it's open, was, like, SPEAKER_00: wide open or just kinda cracked open halfway? SPEAKER_00: I mean It was pretty it was it was cracked. SPEAKER_01: Well, not cracked open, cracked open, but it was, like, open open. SPEAKER_00: Like, if you want me to done Yeah. SPEAKER_00: Can you just open this door how you saw it? SPEAKER_00: I know it was a it pushes in, but SPEAKER_01: Dude, wide open. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_00: Like yeah. SPEAKER_00: I don't know SPEAKER_01: what cracked open this wide open. SPEAKER_00: It is. SPEAKER_00: And that was between nine and 10AM on Sunday. SPEAKER_01: Or, like, nine probably, like, between nine and eleven. SPEAKER_00: When I came back, it was still open. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: When did you come back? SPEAKER_00: Well, so when I walked my dog on Sundays, it was about an hour walk. SPEAKER_00: We go SPEAKER_01: we leave the parking lot, go down that hill, take a left, go all the way down. SPEAKER_01: I went all the way down King King Road instead of SPEAKER_00: down those steps to get to that field. SPEAKER_00: Going all the SPEAKER_01: way down King Road, take a right on Taylor and Taylor. SPEAKER_00: Taylor right there, and then get on that walkway right across from Sigma Chi House Okay. SPEAKER_00: There. SPEAKER_00: And then, basically, went down to whatever road Tarby Hall is on. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_01: The Land Lake over there? SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: Then took another right and went all the way down to the Whammy. SPEAKER_01: Went all the way down to the Whammy Building. SPEAKER_00: So at Suite In Maine right Okay. SPEAKER_01: And then I got on that identity trail, um, right where right where identity apartments and, uh, and Pizza Hut is. SPEAKER_01: Uh-huh. SPEAKER_01: And that was probably a little bit under an hour that I got home at at about eleven, SPEAKER_00: and I'm still open. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: So That's good information. SPEAKER_00: Appreciate it. SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: Not sure how much how much that helps at all or anything like that, but SPEAKER_00: It's good the middle piece helps. SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: We've seen kinda SPEAKER_00: Put some yeah. SPEAKER_00: Like, putting putting the piece together. SPEAKER_00: What we're trying to do. SPEAKER_00: We have a we're definitely still well, we're still sitting on the house as you probably know because you live right there. SPEAKER_00: So Yeah. SPEAKER_00: We're, uh, we're still trying to collect evidence and stuff so that that does help us. SPEAKER_00: I can let our guys know and see if there's anything that they might try to look in that area. SPEAKER_00: Um, I'll keep my eye out for, uh, um, cameras or anything like that. SPEAKER_00: It's not very well. SPEAKER_00: I mean, there's it's pretty it's SPEAKER_01: a pretty bold behind the Times Building. SPEAKER_01: Not to not to down not to downplay the apartment or anything like that. SPEAKER_00: But No. SPEAKER_00: No. SPEAKER_00: They're definitely been there for a while. SPEAKER_00: It's a college college students or a lot of college students live in there, so not a lot of people have cameras and stuff. SPEAKER_00: We get that. SPEAKER_00: But, uh, I know our guys, like I said, they went and looked to see if they could physically see cameras. SPEAKER_00: Then if they did, they'd go knock on doors. SPEAKER_00: But I just was like, well, maybe you have one. SPEAKER_00: Some people have ones where they're, like, positioned where we can't see them from the outside, but maybe they could still have cameras. SPEAKER_00: That's why I thought I'd ask. SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: I wish I did. SPEAKER_00: No. SPEAKER_00: You're good, man. SPEAKER_00: I appreciate it. SPEAKER_00: Uh, do you have any questions for us? SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: Not like Like, honestly, like, what like, I met one of the girls. SPEAKER_01: I can't like, they're all blonde, so I can't make make out who they are. SPEAKER_01: Like, one of them, their dogs ran after my dog SPEAKER_00: Oh, okay. SPEAKER_01: A few months ago. SPEAKER_01: Um, and then I I, uh, I know I've said hi to, um, Maddie and Kaylee in passing. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_01: Um, just like because they walk their dogs. SPEAKER_00: Mhmm. SPEAKER_00: Like, yeah, SPEAKER_01: pretty much nothing more than that. SPEAKER_01: I'm The college the college party seemed way past way past my time. SPEAKER_00: No. SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: Has past my crime, but SPEAKER_01: they look fun. SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: Well, I appreciate it, man. SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
