SPEAKER_01: What were you with us last time or no? SPEAKER_00: No. SPEAKER_00: No. SPEAKER_00: That was detective Miller. SPEAKER_02: He looks kinda like him. SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: So since the last time I talked, I know I know you and your family have taken a lot of crap online. SPEAKER_00: I hope you're not reading it or anything. SPEAKER_00: What about you? SPEAKER_00: Are you I mean, when when the first time I talked to you, you know, you know, you're kinda a person of interest, I guess, we would say. SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: I understand that. SPEAKER_00: Well, because you were seen at a taco truck or a a Grubhub truck and at the bar with him. SPEAKER_00: Detective Hopkins has actually been up at Moscow helping him with the investigation. SPEAKER_00: There's been, what, 45, 50 detectives up there running around, you know, gathering phone information, gathering videos from private residences, from businesses. SPEAKER_00: The crime scene's basically completed now, so there's stuff at the lab. SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: You know, biological stuff, fingerprint stuff, the typical stuff we collect from from crime scenes. SPEAKER_00: And there's probably I wouldn't even guess how many interviews completed. SPEAKER_00: And and as I told your mom when when we were texting last or yeah. SPEAKER_00: Like, yesterday to set this up, you're not you're not you're further from a person of interest than even you were the day that we first spoke. SPEAKER_00: So but with that, we do have some new individuals that we're kinda interested in. SPEAKER_00: And I think the first time that that I spoke to you, we kinda we didn't go over the Saturday. SPEAKER_00: We kinda focused on from when you went to the corner club and then your activities till you got home back I I wanna go back a little further in that. SPEAKER_00: And and when I'm talking to you, remember, we have we have all this video, and we have so I'm I may ask you a bunch about clothing or whatever if you can remember what people were wearing and then vehicles. SPEAKER_00: Vehicles are another another big thing and how people get around were getting around at that time. SPEAKER_00: So on Friday night, did you what what'd you do Friday night? SPEAKER_00: No. SPEAKER_01: I don't think I did anything. SPEAKER_01: Because, like, my habit kind of is, like, Thursday night. SPEAKER_01: That's kinda when people start going out for, like, it's early weekend. SPEAKER_01: So I usually kinda go out, like, Thursday night and just hang out Friday just doing assignments or some something like that. SPEAKER_01: So I usually don't, like, go back to back nights. SPEAKER_01: So I think that was, like, one of the weekends where I went out Thursday, stayed in Friday, went out Saturday, stayed home Sunday watching football. SPEAKER_01: So that's usually how my weekends kinda go, like, a normal basis. SPEAKER_01: So I got I don't think I was really doing anything that I can remember. SPEAKER_01: I'd probably just be at home, like, hanging out. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_01: I can't really recall specifically what I was doing necessarily. SPEAKER_00: So not much on a Friday. SPEAKER_00: Now did you know that it was some formal for the sorority? SPEAKER_00: I mean, do you know what was going on on campus on that night? SPEAKER_01: I mean, maybe. SPEAKER_01: I don't know. SPEAKER_01: Like, I feel like there's always stuff going on. SPEAKER_01: I'm always taking part in certain activities. SPEAKER_01: Like, I don't care about certain things. SPEAKER_01: So I don't know. SPEAKER_01: Like, a lot happens without me really paying attention. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_00: Did you know that the house house where the homicides took place that they had a party that night? SPEAKER_01: I mean, not that specific night. SPEAKER_01: I I heard about them having, I think, a party sat Saturday, maybe. SPEAKER_01: I don't know. SPEAKER_01: Maybe I think it was game day. SPEAKER_01: I thought they had people. SPEAKER_01: I don't know. SPEAKER_01: Like Okay. SPEAKER_01: Then because people usually just say King Street, and there's, like, six, seven different houses people, like, be going to. SPEAKER_01: So, like SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: And when you say when when we're talking, if if you would help me out, whether you knew that prior to the, you know, the homicide or it's stuff you've learned afterwards. SPEAKER_00: Afterwards. SPEAKER_00: Because Okay. SPEAKER_01: I don't really for the most part, like, I went to, I think, on game day, an apartment at the Whites. SPEAKER_01: But for the most part, I don't like I don't really hear about that stuff that much. SPEAKER_01: Because I don't really care to, like, go there. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_01: So I don't know. SPEAKER_01: Like, it's all I I would say I've heard it afterwards. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_00: So Saturday morning, it's game day. SPEAKER_00: Walk me through that that day, what you do, who you were with. SPEAKER_02: Are you are you asking him again because he's still a suspect? SPEAKER_02: Why are you asking him so much about him? SPEAKER_00: Because he's gonna be with somebody, I think, on that day that I wanna know and corroborate the activities. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: For the most part, I don't really remember what we did. SPEAKER_01: I don't think I went I didn't go to the game. SPEAKER_01: I just remember it's hard to remember these days. SPEAKER_01: And the the only thing I remember from that day is, like, going to that White's apartment, like, going back from there in my place, and then going to the bars later. SPEAKER_01: Like, I don't really remember specifics. SPEAKER_01: I don't know. SPEAKER_01: There's just, like, a ton of people there. SPEAKER_01: It's, like, usually when it's game days, like, everyone just, like, meets. SPEAKER_01: So there's just like a ton of people, like, coming and going from afar, like, people I know and people I don't know. SPEAKER_01: There's also a ton of people I just don't know because over, like, the three years of college, was pretty much, like, in a relationship. SPEAKER_01: So I was hanging out with, like, my girlfriend instead of meeting a lot of these people. SPEAKER_01: Like, that's why a lot of people think I'm kinda sus. SPEAKER_01: It's because I don't talk to a lot of these people on campus because I was doing other stuff, like like, relationship stuff. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_01: What okay. SPEAKER_01: So, I don't know. SPEAKER_01: I just, like, hang out with my friends and, like, if I don't know you, I'm not really gonna talk to you. SPEAKER_01: So, there's a ton of people I saw that day that, like, I don't really know. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna bring up the name in which I know you I know you know him. SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: Were you with that day? SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_01: He's my good friend. SPEAKER_00: I know. SPEAKER_00: So what time did you meet up with SPEAKER_01: with I have no clue. SPEAKER_01: I I don't know if I can see if I maybe yeah. SPEAKER_01: What date was that? SPEAKER_00: It would be the twelfth. SPEAKER_01: I don't know. SPEAKER_01: It's just hard to think of, like, times. SPEAKER_01: It's like it'd have to be can remember if it was, like, after the game or before the game? SPEAKER_01: But I don't even remember what time of the game was that. SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: It was an afternoon game, if I remember right. SPEAKER_01: I'd assume we were, like, I don't know, late, like, afternoon maybe. SPEAKER_01: Like, I don't know. SPEAKER_00: Well, can you remember? SPEAKER_00: Did you meet up with him at the at the SPEAKER_01: house? SPEAKER_01: No. SPEAKER_01: I don't think that everyone's at the desk. SPEAKER_01: They might have came to my house for a second just because I lived right next to they might have him and maybe might have came to my house, but I can't remember if that actually happened before. SPEAKER_01: You said the twelfth? SPEAKER_01: Yes. SPEAKER_01: So the messages I have is I said, yo. SPEAKER_01: He said, what's up? SPEAKER_01: This is at 04:16, though. SPEAKER_01: And I said, you still have the wipes? SPEAKER_01: And he said, yeah. SPEAKER_01: I'm trying to get food. SPEAKER_01: And I said, where you at? SPEAKER_01: And I said, at my place, I had to take some ibuprofen and stretch my back. SPEAKER_01: My back is ducked. SPEAKER_01: Grabbed me a couple beers if there was any left because they're, like, the girls that bought, like, a party pool of beers for everyone. SPEAKER_01: So Okay. SPEAKER_01: And I don't have messages from him till the fourteenth. SPEAKER_01: About like that's when we were talking about it, like, you're leaving if we're leaving or not. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: So had you guys been at the party yet or did I mean So SPEAKER_01: I would so if that was at 04:00, I would assume they're going from anywhere from, like, twelve to, like, maybe yeah. SPEAKER_01: Probably, like, 12:00 or eleven, actually, probably start out and people have got the whites. SPEAKER_01: But I don't know when we went there. SPEAKER_01: Like, some probably before four, maybe two or one. SPEAKER_01: I don't know. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: And some of the stuff I'm gonna tell you, we we've gotten from so, I mean, if you can't remember Will, I'm gonna have to tell you stuff to to remind you. SPEAKER_00: Okay? SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: So with Dan then where did you guys obviously, the message string stopped. SPEAKER_00: So SPEAKER_01: think Kaylee I definitely do remember Kaylee and Maddie and all. SPEAKER_01: That's where that picture was taken. SPEAKER_00: You've taken the all over yeah. SPEAKER_01: That's where that I remember them all going out and taking that picture and stuff. SPEAKER_00: And you weren't friends with that whole crowd really except for SPEAKER_01: I'm like just mutually friends because like there's like people I have classes with like there's just like people I know and then there's people I just like like no, but don't know. SPEAKER_01: Like, this is a small place like I don't know them, but, like, we just all hang out, like, I don't know. SPEAKER_01: We all commingle, kind of. SPEAKER_01: So there's just a bunch of people I don't know, and there are people I do know. SPEAKER_01: Like, I don't I didn't know Kaylee, but, like, I've seen her around and stuff. SPEAKER_01: So I, like, recognized her and stuff. SPEAKER_00: So which one out of the group did you know the best? SPEAKER_01: Maddie. SPEAKER_01: I just had, like, class with Maddie and she's in my grade. SPEAKER_01: So I've just known her since, like, freshman year. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_01: She's always seen her. SPEAKER_01: She just has always hung out at, like, the Dallas through the years and stuff. SPEAKER_00: When excuse me for not remembering. SPEAKER_00: What year in school are you guys? SPEAKER_00: I'm Okay. SPEAKER_00: And is she she's the same. SPEAKER_00: I I so you you guys are at the the White's party. SPEAKER_00: Do you remember leaving that party? SPEAKER_00: I mean, yeah. SPEAKER_01: I I went back and forth between my house a few times, I think, to, like, feel good. SPEAKER_01: My I I was having, like, a messed up back, so it was, like, kinda hard for me to, like, stand up all day. SPEAKER_01: So I was, like, getting really sore and stuff, so I was going back to my place a lot to, like, just sit down for a second. SPEAKER_01: But I don't know. SPEAKER_01: I'd say I don't even know if went back after oh, don't think I don't know. SPEAKER_01: I don't think I went back after four or five, I think. SPEAKER_00: So you don't recall going back to the to the thousand end up splitting the beer up? SPEAKER_01: I mean, we it sounds like what we do, like but, we do that all the time. SPEAKER_01: I think that was probably in the morning called me because they were, like, trying to I didn't even know what was going on that morning with all this stuff. SPEAKER_01: And they called me because I, like, lived back there. SPEAKER_01: And they were like, do you know what's going on by your place? SPEAKER_01: Like, that's, like, the first I heard from them. SPEAKER_01: Like, I I think his called me that they were together. SPEAKER_01: I think they went and got food that morning or something. SPEAKER_01: When SPEAKER_00: and I I mean, obviously, you're not gonna be able to because you can't remember, but you don't recall any strange people or strange individuals, cars around your neighborhood on the twelfth, but you're you guys are all partying? SPEAKER_01: I mean, like, the thing is, like, I don't there's just nothing seems, like, suspicious up there. SPEAKER_01: So I just assumed it was like a DD picking them up because usually, like, sororities, I don't think have DD's, but they usually, like, we use the guy's d d's and stuff. SPEAKER_01: So I just assumed it was just a going home. SPEAKER_01: So they're pretty drunk. SPEAKER_01: What kind of guy is He's kind of like he's kind of like me, I guess. SPEAKER_01: He's pretty laid back and quiet. SPEAKER_01: Like like, I definitely some people, if you don't know him well, probably think he's kind of an or maybe an outsider.
