SPEAKER_00: Alright. SPEAKER_00: Um, I'm just gonna get some basic information about you real fast. SPEAKER_01: Before we get started here. SPEAKER_01: How's your day going? SPEAKER_01: What SPEAKER_00: is your mental initial? SPEAKER_02: Perfect. SPEAKER_02: Yes, sir. SPEAKER_00: You relate you related in your California? SPEAKER_01: My grandparents lived there for Oahu, SPEAKER_00: but Really? SPEAKER_00: Which part? SPEAKER_01: I think it was, like, I think it was at dispo, I wanna say. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: I want my, uh, my high school shop teacher slot, same But I lived up in Northern California. SPEAKER_01: So Two. SPEAKER_01: Sweet. SPEAKER_00: Can you just walk me through just your night Sure. SPEAKER_00: On let's see. SPEAKER_00: So today is Monday, the fourteenth. SPEAKER_00: So, like, the night of the twelfth, which is Saturday, like, going into the thirteenth, which is early Sunday morning. SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: So Saturday, I went to a house party. SPEAKER_01: K. SPEAKER_01: A tree house. SPEAKER_02: I rang the SPEAKER_01: I'm sure you remember. SPEAKER_01: So SPEAKER_00: you said it was a what part? SPEAKER_00: Treehouse party? SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: Like a house party. SPEAKER_01: The house is, like, called Treehouse. SPEAKER_00: Oh, okay. SPEAKER_00: Where is that at? SPEAKER_01: It's, like, right next to the whites, the white apartments. SPEAKER_01: It's, a little house, like, right next to it. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_01: Just, like, down the hill from that part. SPEAKER_00: Do you know the do you know the address of it or no? SPEAKER_00: I don't. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: Is it is there a certain, um, sorority that SPEAKER_01: you SPEAKER_00: live with? SPEAKER_01: I believe it's I think there's I think living there. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: So you went to a party there? SPEAKER_00: Yes, Do remember what time about? SPEAKER_01: Um, I think I got I think I left around ten or eleven. SPEAKER_01: You left? SPEAKER_01: I left Trios around ten or eleven. SPEAKER_01: We were, like, pretty early just watching the football game. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: What time did you get there at? SPEAKER_00: I know. SPEAKER_00: Ballpark estimate. SPEAKER_00: Probably close to, like, end of the SPEAKER_01: third quarter of the football game. SPEAKER_01: So probably, like SPEAKER_00: Oh, the vandal game? SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: Like Okay. SPEAKER_01: I don't know. SPEAKER_01: Six, 06:30. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_01: I'm not sure. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: And you said you left there around, like, ten? SPEAKER_00: Ten or eleven, SPEAKER_01: I wanna say. SPEAKER_01: And then I came home and watched a movie. SPEAKER_01: Came back in home Yeah. SPEAKER_01: Yesterday. SPEAKER_01: Watched a movie with my roommate and then my buddy and his girlfriend. SPEAKER_00: What, um, which roommate is that? SPEAKER_02: Okay. SPEAKER_02: Yes. SPEAKER_02: Perfect. SPEAKER_02: Mhmm. SPEAKER_00: And you said? SPEAKER_01: Yes, sir. SPEAKER_00: How do you spell that? SPEAKER_00: Say the last one again. SPEAKER_00: Last letters. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: So it was SPEAKER_01: who else? SPEAKER_01: K. SPEAKER_01: And then his girlfriend SPEAKER_00: I'm sure you don't know last name. SPEAKER_01: I was I believe it's SPEAKER_00: I think. SPEAKER_00: When you were at the house for the party, were you with anybody in particular? SPEAKER_00: Or SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah. SPEAKER_01: I mean, there was just a lot of for carrying these shorty guys. SPEAKER_01: There's shorty girls for carrying guys just there, hanging out. SPEAKER_01: Was it all or No. SPEAKER_01: Like I said, I saw and she's SPEAKER_02: a Okay. SPEAKER_01: I saw her boyfriend there too. SPEAKER_01: Who's her boyfriend? SPEAKER_01: I think his name's SPEAKER_00: right? SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: K. SPEAKER_00: And she was there with SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: I don't I'm not sure on the guy's actual name. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: It's okay. SPEAKER_00: But it's her boyfriend? SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: So you just saw her SPEAKER_01: just at the party? SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: No. SPEAKER_01: Me and her talked for a while. SPEAKER_01: Me and her are pretty good friends. SPEAKER_01: That's kinda how I found out about about Santa. SPEAKER_00: So Okay. SPEAKER_00: Was that the only that was there? SPEAKER_00: That I noticed. SPEAKER_00: That you noticed? SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: So you said you came back between ten, eleven. SPEAKER_00: You were watching a movie SPEAKER_02: with your SPEAKER_00: and his girlfriend. SPEAKER_00: And then what happened after that? SPEAKER_01: Um, I went to bed, um, and then I ended up going and picking up three seniors from the club around two, I wanna say. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: Um, do you remember what time he went to bed? SPEAKER_01: Probably, like, right after, probably, SPEAKER_00: 02:30, three. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: Did you go to bed before you picked them up or no? SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: Yes, sir. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: So you watched a movie, you went to sleep, and you got a phone call? SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: I was laying in bed, and then, we usually have a sober driver Right. SPEAKER_01: For, like, nice weekends and stuff. SPEAKER_01: Yep. SPEAKER_01: And I one of our freshmen got, um, pulled over, kinda went off with a warning. SPEAKER_01: He wasn't, like, driving his own car. SPEAKER_01: Right. SPEAKER_01: Um, so he just came out and I told him, don't worry about rides or anything. SPEAKER_01: I'm, like, for the rest of night, I want you to get trouble or anything. SPEAKER_01: Right. SPEAKER_01: And then SPEAKER_00: So you kinda took over that role for the night then? SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: I just picked up just from the club. SPEAKER_00: You said? SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: And who else? SPEAKER_01: Just those three, sir. SPEAKER_01: Sorry. SPEAKER_02: And who else? SPEAKER_02: My I'm sorry. SPEAKER_02: And they're all Yes, sir. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: You picked them three up at the club? SPEAKER_00: Yes, sir. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: And then what what happened when you picked them SPEAKER_01: up from the club? SPEAKER_01: Uh, I just drove them home and dropped them off. SPEAKER_00: Did you guys all leave the vehicle together to go back in the house, or did anybody SPEAKER_01: Um, they live at an outhouse, sir. SPEAKER_01: I should have been clear. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: Where do they live at? SPEAKER_01: They live at a place called It's on King Street. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_01: It's right across from I guess, like, when you pull into that, like, there's, like, that small street on that cul de sac kind of thing. SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: Like, it's the White House on the right. SPEAKER_00: So they kinda live on by the cul de sac by the cul de sac? SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: It's like So if you pull on to King Road If you SPEAKER_01: pull on to King Road Yep. SPEAKER_01: You see, like, houses, those apartments, and then that little, like, breakaway street, like, where you can turn left and SPEAKER_00: On the Queen? SPEAKER_01: Right. SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: And then so they live, like, right past that on the left on Key Road, just, like, past where you turn left. SPEAKER_01: You just keep going straight, and they live in the back, like, corner SPEAKER_00: right there. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: So kinda closer to the cul de sac? SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: And you dropped all three of them off? SPEAKER_01: Yes, sir. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: Did they say, like, what they were gonna do or anything? SPEAKER_00: Um, did you see them, like, go inside? SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: I saw I mean, they were going inside. SPEAKER_01: I didn't really think of think of it too much. SPEAKER_01: I just kinda reversed down SPEAKER_00: and dropped back home. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: And you said that was around two what time? SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: I can see when because I called Jack. SPEAKER_01: I can see what time stamp that is. SPEAKER_01: I'm trying to make it a little more, but I still wanna give you a long time. SPEAKER_00: No. SPEAKER_00: You're good. SPEAKER_01: Thanks, man. SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: I called to pick him up at 01:49. SPEAKER_01: In which was Okay. SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: So prop we'll say so you called him at 01:49? SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: Just to let him know that SPEAKER_01: I was at the club very late. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_01: And then I dropped him off. SPEAKER_01: So I probably was back home by 02:15, 02:30. SPEAKER_00: What club was that? SPEAKER_01: The corner club. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_01: So 01:49. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: Did any of them say anything or, um, mention if they were with anybody, or you just basically picked them up and dropped them off? SPEAKER_01: I just picked them up. SPEAKER_01: They just kinda sounded like they were the last people that didn't get a ride. SPEAKER_01: So when I told I told our freshmen to, like, just hold off on giving rides, I guess they were just kinda the ones that got stranded. SPEAKER_01: So that's why SPEAKER_00: I them. SPEAKER_00: Gotcha. SPEAKER_00: When you picked them up, were they worth anybody else? SPEAKER_00: No. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_01: No. SPEAKER_01: Just those I just took those three SPEAKER_00: guys. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: And then you dropped them off, they got out of your car, and then I SPEAKER_01: went home. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: Is there is there anything else that you know, worth noting or anything? SPEAKER_01: Not that I can think of, sir, at all. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: Was there a lot of parties going on off of King And Queen that night, you know? SPEAKER_01: Honestly, not that I know of. SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: I know there's, like, a couple different fraternities and sororities that all over at King Road, so I don't really know exactly what all of them are doing. SPEAKER_00: But not anything you specifically noticed at night, though? SPEAKER_01: No. SPEAKER_01: I was only at Treehouse, and I was by the time I left, there was, like, four people left at Treehouse. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_01: So and after that, I don't know. SPEAKER_01: Nobody nobody I knew. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_01: He paid us right in the parties besides the guys that were 21 who set the bar. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: Do you have any questions for me or anything you want saying or anything? SPEAKER_00: I just yeah. SPEAKER_01: I'm just like, I'm personally kinda just, like, scared and Right. SPEAKER_01: Sam was one of my friends. SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: I'm sorry SPEAKER_00: to hear about that, by the way, man. SPEAKER_00: So it's definitely not it's not that normal and easy to comprehend. SPEAKER_01: So Yeah. SPEAKER_01: I don't know. SPEAKER_01: It's having any I don't think it hit me completely yet, but you guys are saying, like, there's no, like, immediate threat on Correct. SPEAKER_01: This, which is I don't know. SPEAKER_01: Like, I just don't really understand, like, how that's how that's possible if, you know, there's still no way I can consider it as a suspect. SPEAKER_01: Right. SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: So we're we're still trying to do the best we can to Yeah. SPEAKER_00: Put everything together. SPEAKER_00: So but as of right now, yeah, that I would say that's that's an accurate statement. SPEAKER_00: So just know, obviously, you have resources out there. SPEAKER_00: I know the Greek life community is not extremely big, and a lot of people know each other and hang out with each other. SPEAKER_00: So, I mean, talk to one another, you know, be there, especially as a leader, like Yeah. SPEAKER_00: Be there for your dudes, you know. SPEAKER_00: Like, this is just not something that people go through. SPEAKER_00: Right? SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: This is Moscow. SPEAKER_00: Like, anything can happen anywhere, but Moscow is a relatively extremely safe community, as you know. SPEAKER_00: You know, we've been here for a minute. SPEAKER_00: So, um, just utilize the resources on campus and your brothers and stuff like that. SPEAKER_00: Um, if you hear anything or anything worth of noting, like, anything could help out at this point. SPEAKER_00: Okay? SPEAKER_00: So Yeah. SPEAKER_00: I've been trying SPEAKER_01: to I've been trying, but I don't know. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_01: I hadn't talked to Zano for a couple weeks. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_01: So I just Okay. SPEAKER_01: I know that there's a lot of my the guys in my house that plan on going on today. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: Um, SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna kinda stick around. SPEAKER_01: I think I'm I'm planning on leaving tomorrow if that's okay. SPEAKER_01: Like, I'm leaving this week. SPEAKER_01: You can SPEAKER_00: do whatever you want, man. SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: You're you're not obligated to stay here. SPEAKER_01: I just I just wanted to make sure if there's another you know, if you guys need anything else. SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: I could I could just give you a call if anything.
