SPEAKER_01: So I texted this morning when I woke up to ask her to I just asked her if she was awake because I wanted to get a coffee or something. SPEAKER_01: And she called me about an hour later and said, hey. SPEAKER_01: Like like, we're coming We're, like, in my room right now. SPEAKER_01: Like, we like, the rest of our roommates aren't answering. SPEAKER_01: They're just kind of freaked out. SPEAKER_01: And I heard on the phone in the background, like, talking to someone saying, like, I saw somebody or something, and I just didn't know what's going on. SPEAKER_01: And I was like, okay. SPEAKER_01: That's weird. SPEAKER_01: Like, I'm concerned for you guys. SPEAKER_01: Like, do you guys want me to come pick you up? SPEAKER_01: And she was like, honestly, yeah. SPEAKER_01: Like, can you just come over? SPEAKER_01: And I was like, sure. SPEAKER_01: And I was driving there, and she texted me and said SPEAKER_00: also on the way just to check things out. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_01: And then right when I pulled up, I'm pretty sure I pulled in right as the police were behind me. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_01: So I parked to the side and, like, kind of near like, in front of the house, and then the police came. SPEAKER_00: What time did you That she was awake or whenever that was coming? SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: First time you texted her. SPEAKER_01: I texted her, you awake at 11:20. SPEAKER_00: K. SPEAKER_00: Was that using just Messenger? SPEAKER_01: It was by message. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_00: It's two people that are actually using their native text. SPEAKER_00: Thank you. SPEAKER_00: Yes. SPEAKER_00: I'm trying to say thank you. SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: Now why don't you come get me? SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: Actually, she, like, was like, hold on one sec and hung up before she asked to come get me. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_01: And then she texted me at 11:15, said, one sec. SPEAKER_01: And then at the same time, I said, you guys want me to come get you? SPEAKER_01: And then she said yes. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: Did you attend the party last night at all? SPEAKER_00: No. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_01: I was at a different party, and I actually, like, came over to that party. SPEAKER_01: I like, they were in the night. SPEAKER_00: With me too at one point too. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_01: She was but they both ended up at the part at my party at some point. SPEAKER_00: So did did you leave the party before or after your party? SPEAKER_01: My party, I was there the whole time she left SPEAKER_00: for me. SPEAKER_00: What time did you leave? SPEAKER_00: I SPEAKER_01: can also tell you because she was also here. SPEAKER_01: I'd say around 1AM. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: What time did SPEAKER_01: left at, like, twelve, like, thirty. SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: It was, like, 12:30. SPEAKER_01: And I was actually about to leave with her, and SPEAKER_00: then I decided to stay. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_01: And I knew she was going home. SPEAKER_00: So from the time that left, didn't hear anything from anybody? SPEAKER_00: Mm-mm. SPEAKER_00: K. SPEAKER_01: No. SPEAKER_01: She just came up to me, she was like, hey. SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna leave. SPEAKER_01: And then don't know why she left. SPEAKER_00: So, obviously, you know SPEAKER_01: Yes. SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: Do you know Maddie and Yes. SPEAKER_00: All of them? SPEAKER_00: Yes. SPEAKER_00: And are you in another are you in a sorority? SPEAKER_01: I'm with Delia, Bethany, and I. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: Yes. SPEAKER_00: Got it. SPEAKER_01: And I SPEAKER_00: know Xana and Maddie because they were And then I SPEAKER_01: met Kaylee just because she's nervous. SPEAKER_00: And then is also SPEAKER_01: She is. SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: Xana, Maddie, and Kaylee dropped the so Xana and Maddie were both of them. SPEAKER_01: They dropped. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_01: Kaylee was she dropped. SPEAKER_01: So they were all dropouts. SPEAKER_01: They weren't in a sorority. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_01: Or they aren't anymore. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: For somebody who doesn't understand the whole sorority fraternity world, why did you drop out? SPEAKER_00: Money issues or just not liking, SPEAKER_01: like, the girls telling you what to do all the time. SPEAKER_01: I guess that's their kind of issue, I think it was. SPEAKER_01: There's girls in the house that are, like, a part of leadership, and so they'll be, like, the executive board kinda just telling you what to do, and they probably didn't really like it. SPEAKER_00: Sure. SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: That that was what college was about, was not having to a boss for them. SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: But you are still in SPEAKER_01: I am. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: I live And SPEAKER_01: Yes. SPEAKER_00: And Yes. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_01: And I believe Kaylee was a senior, and I know Maddie was a senior. SPEAKER_01: I know for sure Maddie was a senior. SPEAKER_01: I'm not sure. SPEAKER_01: I'm pretty sure Kaylee was a senior too. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: So Maddie was senior. SPEAKER_00: So SPEAKER_01: Bethany is a sophomore, and so is Okay. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: So is there anything that's been going weird with people talking, people showing up? SPEAKER_00: At the house? SPEAKER_00: Like, the house. SPEAKER_00: At all. SPEAKER_00: Yep. SPEAKER_01: I mean, I know that Kaylee, like, a month ago, like, saw, like, a dark figure staring at her in the woods when she took her dog Murphy out. SPEAKER_01: To go pee. SPEAKER_01: And, like, I don't know. SPEAKER_01: That apartment's always giving me, like, bad vibes, and we always kind of we don't joke about there being, a stalker, but we were like, seriously, like, there's been countless times that we've been, like, just scared because, like, we hear things. SPEAKER_01: Or SPEAKER_00: And that's just at the house itself? SPEAKER_01: No. SPEAKER_01: That house on Kingsborough Road. SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: Yes. SPEAKER_00: Uh-huh. SPEAKER_01: That live at the house or just SPEAKER_00: Just in general? SPEAKER_01: No. SPEAKER_01: Not at the the apartment. SPEAKER_01: No. SPEAKER_01: They're all, like, best friends. SPEAKER_01: Same with There's no real big problem. SPEAKER_00: Nobody stole somebody's boyfriend or ate somebody's cookies. SPEAKER_00: Anything else you can think of that I would should need to know? SPEAKER_00: It's just weird, out of place. SPEAKER_01: I mean, I was curious of how the person got in, but then I mean, sometimes their door doesn't lock all the way. SPEAKER_01: They have a code to get in. SPEAKER_01: Sometimes I just open it, and it opens. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: Did you know the code to get in? SPEAKER_01: I do. SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: Is that is that something common for the friends to know? SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: I'm was supposed to move in that semester or next year, so I've just been, like, basically living there. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_01: So, yeah, I just need the code because I'm really close with them. SPEAKER_01: And one of my other close friends knows it, but I don't know about anyone else. SPEAKER_01: But, yeah, sometimes I'll just go in. SPEAKER_01: There's, a party happening, and it's just, like, unlocked. SPEAKER_01: Right. SPEAKER_01: So SPEAKER_00: Sure. SPEAKER_00: That makes sense. SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: It sounds like there's a door off of the so you haven't got to move in Yeah. SPEAKER_00: In next month? SPEAKER_01: So I was trying to get a live out granted for this upcoming semester. SPEAKER_01: Usually, you can't do that, but I know that last year. SPEAKER_01: So I was gonna try to do that. SPEAKER_00: I'm with you. SPEAKER_01: But I was for sure gonna move in next year. SPEAKER_00: With the so there's the front door that's got the keypad. SPEAKER_00: Yep. SPEAKER_00: The back door from the kitchen. SPEAKER_00: The sliding one? SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: Does that usually lock or unlock? SPEAKER_01: I've never really tried, but I know they're very cautious about that stuff, so they they lock it. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_01: But, I mean, a night out, I don't know if they would've. SPEAKER_01: You know? SPEAKER_00: Whenever they come back from a party? SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: So I'm not sure if it's always locked. SPEAKER_01: But SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_01: They have they just have their trash can out there to the side of the side of that store. SPEAKER_01: So maybe they just leave it unlocked because you just open it and throw it away. SPEAKER_01: But I don't know about, like, the nighttime if they wanna lock it or not. SPEAKER_00: You bet. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: Where's Murphy? SPEAKER_01: Where is he? SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: Well, I watched them take him out. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: I don't know where they That was more of a just piecing everything together and SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: Must crap the dog somewhere. SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: He's somewhere. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_00: Alright. SPEAKER_00: Anything else that I can you can think of? SPEAKER_01: I don't think so. SPEAKER_00: K. SPEAKER_00: Usually, any kind of traumatic experience, even if you're not there, you know these people, this is gonna hit you hard. SPEAKER_00: You might think of something later on down the road Mhmm. SPEAKER_00: That'll pop up when you're looking at a happy meal or french fries or something where you're then it just will hit. SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: Don't hesitate to call us and just ask. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: You guys also have the the CTC on campus. SPEAKER_00: Right? SPEAKER_00: The crisis trauma center or what it is. SPEAKER_00: I think that's what the initials are. SPEAKER_00: Highly recommend you reach out to them even if it's just to get the number to have it. SPEAKER_00: This is not normal. SPEAKER_00: This is not something that normal people should have to go through. SPEAKER_00: Mhmm. SPEAKER_00: So I would say reach out even when you don't think you need it Okay. SPEAKER_00: Because that will help just keep stem some of the things that might happen to sleeplessness, the you can get upset stomach. SPEAKER_00: You can get all of that kind of stuff, and it's just not worth it. SPEAKER_00: Right. SPEAKER_00: So don't don't try to power through things. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: It's my guess my point. SPEAKER_00: That's the cop. SPEAKER_00: I've seen really bad things, and I've tried to be the macho guy, and it doesn't work. SPEAKER_00: So ask for help SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_00: Before you think you need be in. SPEAKER_00: Anybody out there that still needs to be interviewed that you think that needs to be talked to sooner than later? SPEAKER_01: No more people that I know needs to be. SPEAKER_01: Okay.
