SPEAKER_01: So, obviously, I know you're aware of the the stuff that happened this weekend. SPEAKER_01: So we're just talking with people around the campus community and just just gathering information at this point. SPEAKER_01: Okay? SPEAKER_02: So I was good friends with Xana since I met her freshman year. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_02: Um, and then Kaylee also met her freshman year, talked to her during recruitment. SPEAKER_02: She was, like, one of my close friends. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_02: Just because, yeah, in a sorority, like, you have, like, you're big and SPEAKER_00: Right. SPEAKER_00: Your SPEAKER_02: yeah. SPEAKER_02: And so she was, like, best best friends with my big, so we always, like, hung out together. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: So you knew Kaylee and Xana pretty well? SPEAKER_02: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: Do you did you know one of them more better than the other, would you say? SPEAKER_02: I knew Kaylee. SPEAKER_01: Kaylee pretty well? SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_01: So you guys were friends since about freshman year. SPEAKER_01: Um, so did did Kaylee did she ever hang out or associate with anybody with, like, violent tendencies or anybody of concern or anything? SPEAKER_02: No. SPEAKER_02: That's the part that was really confusing when we kind of, like, read the news because she usually, like, stuck to her friend like, her roommates. SPEAKER_02: Like, she usually, like, hung out with, like, her roommates, Maddie and everything like that. SPEAKER_02: And if she didn't hang out with them, she would hang out with, um, we call them, like, the King girls, and, uh, they also lived on King Street. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_02: And then who doesn't live at, um, on King Street, but she's also um, she hung out with her a lot. SPEAKER_01: Hung out with Kaylee a lot? SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: K. SPEAKER_01: And now Kaylee, she was correct? SPEAKER_01: She was a part of SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: But, um, SPEAKER_02: her best friend Maddie was, and they've been friends for years. SPEAKER_01: So Okay. SPEAKER_02: She just kinda SPEAKER_01: So so Kaylee was and then Maddie was and then Xana was Okay. SPEAKER_01: So and then Ethan was Okay. SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_02: And, yeah, the place that they lived at was, like it's considered, like, a out of house. SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: Right. SPEAKER_02: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: So other than those people that they hung out with, do you know was she was she ever involved in, like, doing any illegal substances, like, any anything that you can think of? SPEAKER_02: I wouldn't I would probably say just Coke probably, but I I can't think of, like, her doing anything else. SPEAKER_01: Have you actually seen her or heard of her doing that before? SPEAKER_02: No. SPEAKER_02: But I knew that Xana and yeah. SPEAKER_02: Xana was pretty SPEAKER_00: into it. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_01: I would say. SPEAKER_01: Did you have any follow-up questions on? SPEAKER_03: So Santa was in Coke. SPEAKER_03: Yeah. SPEAKER_03: What about Ethan? SPEAKER_02: I'm not sure about Ethan. SPEAKER_02: I don't know her boyfriend that well. SPEAKER_03: And these questions, SPEAKER_02: we're not trying to No. SPEAKER_02: You're totally SPEAKER_03: not. SPEAKER_03: Make anyone Right. SPEAKER_03: Do you know at at that house if they were selling drugs, if there was a lot of people that were selling drugs, or was it just kind of you go to a party and you use kind of thing? SPEAKER_02: I think it was more of, like, they would, like, go out. SPEAKER_00: They would do Coke, but they SPEAKER_02: weren't selling. SPEAKER_02: Okay. SPEAKER_03: So at at their residence, it wasn't known as a drug house or anything like that? SPEAKER_03: They wouldn't keep any quantities of Coke or Xanax, Adderall, anything like that. SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_01: Did, um, did Kaylee ever mention to you or anybody, or did you ever hear from anybody? SPEAKER_01: Did she ever, like, and maybe have a stalker or someone she just maybe maybe it didn't seem like a big deal that she, you know, expressed, like, a concern that maybe came off, like, jokingly or anything like that? SPEAKER_02: No. SPEAKER_02: She never mentioned anything to, like, any of us, um, like, especially, like, anyone, like, in our apartment or, um, to the girls that live Mhmm. SPEAKER_02: On King Street. SPEAKER_02: Um, we just knew I mean, I I don't know. SPEAKER_02: Like, we weren't sure, but we I don't know if you guys saw the Twitch stream. SPEAKER_01: That Mhmm. SPEAKER_02: Yeah. SPEAKER_02: I Yeah. SPEAKER_02: That that was it. SPEAKER_02: Like, we SPEAKER_01: You saw the what did you see in the Twitch stream? SPEAKER_02: Just, like, those two guys. SPEAKER_01: Did you recognize did you recognize any of those guys? SPEAKER_02: We did not, but my friend, um, she actually went to Grub Truck that SPEAKER_00: night K. SPEAKER_00: With SPEAKER_02: her friend And they saw Kaylee and Maddie, and they just kind of said that, like, those guys were just being, like, weird Mhmm. SPEAKER_02: I guess. SPEAKER_01: Did she say anything specific on the names of the guys? SPEAKER_00: Or SPEAKER_02: No. SPEAKER_02: I think they were just two guys that no one recognized. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_02: So SPEAKER_01: What did she did she explain why she thought they were weird or they did anything or their demeanor? SPEAKER_01: Or SPEAKER_02: I think, like, one of them was just kind of, like, nudging the other guy to, SPEAKER_00: like, oh, like, are those girls, like, go get SPEAKER_02: them or something like that. SPEAKER_02: Would probably I would say, like, um, talking to, like yeah. SPEAKER_02: My friend about it because she was there during that time. SPEAKER_01: So she was there while Kaylee and Maddie were there? SPEAKER_01: Did she speak to Kaylee and Maddie at all? SPEAKER_02: I think she said hi, but I'm SPEAKER_01: not Okay. SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: And that is who did you say that was? SPEAKER_02: She's not on the list yet. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_02: And then I think another person that would be good to talk to would probably be was at the bars all night with Kaylee and Mottie, at Corner Club, I think. SPEAKER_01: And what was sorry. SPEAKER_01: I was writing that down. SPEAKER_01: Who was the other, uh, gal you were talking about that was at the Corner Club with them? SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_01: And I know I've already asked once, so I'm just gonna reiterate and ask again. SPEAKER_01: And there's I mean, anything that you could think of or, I mean, Kaylee not or even any of the victims, I guess, this point, um, having any issues with anybody. SPEAKER_02: Um, I would say Kaylee was, like, a very like, she was very, like, unproblematic, like, peaceful. SPEAKER_02: Like, I can't imagine her having, like um, I don't know. SPEAKER_02: Like, I can't imagine her, like, having, like, someone, like, with violent, like, tendencies, like, around her just because she's I feel like she's not that type of person. SPEAKER_02: If anything, like, I or same thing with, like, Maddie Mogan just because, like, they I don't know. SPEAKER_02: I I would say, like, it might be something towards, like, Ethan and Xana. SPEAKER_02: Like, I I don't know. SPEAKER_00: I Okay. SPEAKER_02: Just because, like, Kaylee's, like, never mentions, like, anything. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_01: And I know you said, like, all all of the roommates kinda hung out, stuck together pretty close. SPEAKER_01: Did Yeah. SPEAKER_01: Did Ethan and Xana ever associate with people that may be violent or anything? SPEAKER_02: Like, for me, the reason why I would SPEAKER_01: because I know you said yeah. SPEAKER_02: Kind of assume is just because, like, Xana and Ethan, like, were they're more, like, outgoing people. SPEAKER_02: Like, they hung out with, like, different, like, friend groups. SPEAKER_02: Like, they didn't really stick to kind of, like, the same SPEAKER_01: Mhmm. SPEAKER_02: Friend group. SPEAKER_00: So I don't know. SPEAKER_00: They're just very they're just more social. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: Alright. SPEAKER_01: Do you have any SPEAKER_03: Do you know if Maddie or Kaylee had, like, a boyfriend recently or an ex boyfriend? SPEAKER_03: Anyone that they were kinda SPEAKER_02: seeing? SPEAKER_02: So, um, Kaylee, let's see. SPEAKER_02: She dated this kid a couple years. SPEAKER_02: Um, they were they were high school sweethearts, but is, like, a really nice person. SPEAKER_02: Um, Kaylee, last time I talked to her, um, she a couple days ago, she was just talking about how, like, obviously, once she graduated, like, she was looking for an apartment in Texas, and she, um, met this guy, which was he was gonna be her roommate. SPEAKER_02: Um, I don't know. SPEAKER_03: From Texas? SPEAKER_03: Like Yeah. SPEAKER_03: Already down there? SPEAKER_00: Already down there. SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_01: So Were her and still together when she was mentioning that to you? SPEAKER_02: Um, they're broken up. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_02: But, um, I think the girls, um, that lived on King Street them, her ex boyfriend told them that Kaylee tried calling around SPEAKER_00: during that time, but everything happened. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_01: Well, during what time? SPEAKER_02: I think around three. SPEAKER_01: Three in the morning? SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: Kaylee tried which Okay. SPEAKER_02: I think that's a SPEAKER_01: soft And and who said that? SPEAKER_02: Um, King the girls that live at King County. SPEAKER_02: And, like SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_01: So so they told you that Kaylee attempted to call sometime around three in the morning? SPEAKER_02: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_02: Did I heard that from Sorry. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_01: And then, um, did they say did they ever talk? SPEAKER_01: Um, I just SPEAKER_02: I don't think replied because he probably thought it was some type of, like, oh, like, are you up type SPEAKER_00: of call? SPEAKER_00: So he he didn't answer. SPEAKER_03: How did the girls know that she tried to get ahold of SPEAKER_02: I think it's probably because told them because I know, like, while this whole thing was, like, um, happening for on Sunday when everyone was trying to figure out, like, what happened, um, I'm pretty sure they asked if he knew anything. SPEAKER_02: Okay. SPEAKER_03: Do you think are you saying, like, late night call, like, to come over kind of thing? SPEAKER_02: Like like Yeah. SPEAKER_02: Like a SPEAKER_00: People have been SPEAKER_02: together, and SPEAKER_00: I don't SPEAKER_03: wanna break up. SPEAKER_03: Yeah. SPEAKER_03: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: K. SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_02: So, um, her and this guy, we call him I think his first name is SPEAKER_01: Lot of SPEAKER_02: Lot of he recently graduated, and they're still together. SPEAKER_02: Or if yeah. SPEAKER_02: They were still together. SPEAKER_02: It's been almost two years, I believe. SPEAKER_01: So they're still dating, like, as of right right now? SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_02: I don't think they had any problems, and is a pretty peaceful peaceful lot. SPEAKER_03: What what's he look like? SPEAKER_02: Um, he's kind of balding. SPEAKER_02: The, uh, he's on the shorter side. SPEAKER_03: Like, shorter than me? SPEAKER_03: I'm I'm SPEAKER_00: pretty short. SPEAKER_03: Five eight times nine. SPEAKER_02: Yeah. SPEAKER_02: And I feel like so, obviously, like, Kaylee and Maddie Mogan were probably, like, the closest out of, like, all of the roommates. SPEAKER_02: But if there was anyone else, I would say Maddie, Mogan, and SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_01: And you said who was the you said, uh, Maddie and Kaylee were the closest? SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: Were there but were there any males that Kaylee would hang out with pretty pretty often or any pretty close guy friends that she would hang out pretty often or have come over or anything like that? SPEAKER_02: Let's see. SPEAKER_02: I think she was talking to this guy for a little bit. SPEAKER_02: He's here. SPEAKER_01: K. SPEAKER_01: Or SPEAKER_02: Other than that, like like I said before, she just kind of, like, stuck to her friend groups, I would say. SPEAKER_02: So, no, not really, unless she met someone at the bars, which I feel SPEAKER_00: can give you more information on that. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_01: Do you know if she met anybody at the bar that night? SPEAKER_02: No. SPEAKER_02: We just all kind of heard that there was a guy that got kicked out for being creepy towards Maddie. SPEAKER_02: Mhmm. SPEAKER_02: Um, but other than that, like, we, like, haven't heard anything else. SPEAKER_02: Like, I don't think she's talking to, like, any other guy at the SPEAKER_01: bar. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_00: She was, at least. SPEAKER_01: When was the last time you spoke to Kaylee? SPEAKER_02: Um, I spoke the last time I spoke to her was probably at around 5PM on Saturday. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_02: So it was, like, right before. SPEAKER_01: Because Did she say what she what her plans were? SPEAKER_01: Or SPEAKER_02: No. SPEAKER_02: They all, like, came to our apartment just to kind of, like, hang out and, drink, but then they left to go roam. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_01: So so she came over to around 5PM, she came over to your apartment at the Whites? SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_02: She came over. SPEAKER_01: Was she with anybody? SPEAKER_02: She was with, um, all of her roommates and Ethan. SPEAKER_02: So, like, they all came Okay. SPEAKER_02: There. SPEAKER_02: Um, they showed up at, I think, around 02:33, and they probably left at around, like, five or six, I would say. SPEAKER_01: So left between five or six? SPEAKER_02: Yeah. SPEAKER_02: Around that time, at least. SPEAKER_01: I know there was a, um, a picture on social media posted of all of them. SPEAKER_01: Was that That was at the apartment. SPEAKER_01: That was at your apartment that you live at? SPEAKER_01: Mhmm. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_01: Have you spoken to throw in a blank. SPEAKER_01: Have you spoken to them at all? SPEAKER_02: And I have some classes together. SPEAKER_02: So, like, we've gotten, like, close over that. SPEAKER_02: I reached out to her on Sunday, but she didn't reply. SPEAKER_01: So So you haven't spoke to her about the incident at all? SPEAKER_01: Mm-mm. SPEAKER_01: Or Okay. SPEAKER_01: Do you know anybody who has by chance? SPEAKER_02: Um, I would probably ask. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_02: Um, because I I think her her boyfriend was the one that made that call that morning. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_01: And you said, um, you kept mentioning a couple names.
