SPEAKER_00: Thanks for coming in. SPEAKER_01: How do I pronounce your legal name there? SPEAKER_01: Do you go about something else? SPEAKER_02: I go by. SPEAKER_02: And SPEAKER_01: you last name you go Yes. SPEAKER_01: Do you have any roommates? SPEAKER_01: You said you're not a student... your car. SPEAKER_02: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: So ,,, mentioned the car isn't even working. SPEAKER_01: How long has that been? SPEAKER_02: It's been it's been having troubles all month, but it's recently been kinda kicked the caboo for about a week. SPEAKER_01: Oh, okay. SPEAKER_02: And so, like, gray weather wasn't okay. SPEAKER_02: Or it could But it was working a couple like, throughout the month, sporadically. SPEAKER_02: Gotcha. SPEAKER_01: So to go back to the end, do you remember? SPEAKER_02: I'm a little bit. SPEAKER_02: I think I told the officer here about what I saw. SPEAKER_01: Officer where? SPEAKER_02: It was right after that morning. SPEAKER_02: Like SPEAKER_00: So like a Moscow PD officer? SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_02: Yeah. SPEAKER_02: And so I I gave him my ID, and I gave a little bit of the details. SPEAKER_02: The only thing I saw lately was, like, these two people knocking at that door and getting denied. SPEAKER_02: Like, they called someone in were denied entry. SPEAKER_01: At the door of the house? SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: What time did SPEAKER_02: Around, like, 05:30. SPEAKER_02: Around that SPEAKER_00: The the night before in the evening? SPEAKER_00: Mhmm. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: Can you give, like, a description of these? SPEAKER_00: Were they men? SPEAKER_00: Or Yeah. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_02: These guys, they one of them had a tan jacket and, like, I think I see a gray lining on it and, like, like, some, like, weird gray hat. SPEAKER_02: And like they had fluffy hair, but like I was kinda noticing but not really with SPEAKER_01: Right. SPEAKER_02: Hard to remember, but And then there was some other guy they don't don't remember him at all. SPEAKER_00: What was their build like? SPEAKER_00: Were they larger guys? SPEAKER_00: Smaller guys? SPEAKER_00: Thin, heavyset? SPEAKER_02: They were kind of decent, like guy in the he seemed somewhat little full and, like, kind of decently built. SPEAKER_02: Another guy seemed a little smaller and stuff like that, just barely, but. SPEAKER_00: What about their skin complexion? SPEAKER_02: I think they're a little heartfelt. SPEAKER_02: Okay. SPEAKER_02: That's about as much as I can remember to relieve. SPEAKER_02: I saw them as I was pulling out of the apartment and everything because I went and grabbed some food at SPEAKER_00: that time, so I worked. SPEAKER_00: Right. SPEAKER_00: What was, uh, what drew your attention to them? SPEAKER_02: Um, well, I it was just because I'm I'm kind of a nosy neighbor sometimes. SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_02: And so I was just because I that plant where you can park your cars for a while there, um, I had my car up there, and so I was, like, directly next to them SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_02: When I like, walking up to my car, so I was kinda just paying attention because nothing better to do and there's just some people fucking down there, you know, just catching my ears. SPEAKER_02: So SPEAKER_00: Did they have a car there SPEAKER_01: with them? SPEAKER_02: No. SPEAKER_02: We walked. SPEAKER_02: Like, can them to be in emergency or something. SPEAKER_02: I don't know if they got the wrong house or if it was that someone was in there and says, no. SPEAKER_02: You can't come in or something like that. SPEAKER_02: They're Gotcha. SPEAKER_01: So that night on the the night of the twelfth, were you working that night? SPEAKER_02: Yes. SPEAKER_02: I was. SPEAKER_02: Okay. SPEAKER_01: And what time did you go to work? SPEAKER_02: 10PM. SPEAKER_01: 10PM? SPEAKER_01: Mhmm. SPEAKER_01: Good. SPEAKER_01: Did you drive or walk? SPEAKER_01: I did. SPEAKER_01: And drove that vehicle? SPEAKER_02: I did. SPEAKER_02: Yeah. SPEAKER_02: And SPEAKER_01: what time did you come home from work? SPEAKER_02: Probably 06:45 to seven. SPEAKER_01: Did you ever come come back to your place during your work shift? SPEAKER_01: Or SPEAKER_02: No. SPEAKER_02: Never? SPEAKER_02: No. SPEAKER_02: I sometimes I do, but I did it that night, and I I had to stay at work and kinda just leave sadly. SPEAKER_02: I since I work overnight, I can sometimes go, but I don't think anyone else was there to, like, cover for me while I'm gone, so I couldn't leave Okay. SPEAKER_02: To go see my cats because I usually go see my cat, but I don't think I did that night. SPEAKER_01: You don't think you did, or was it possible you lived? SPEAKER_02: No. SPEAKER_02: Because I no. SPEAKER_01: Where did you that night when you went to work, what was the where did you park it to? SPEAKER_02: I would approach it right on the light post. SPEAKER_02: There's SPEAKER_01: I'm I'm talking about up on your part. SPEAKER_02: Up on my apartments. SPEAKER_02: Right where right where it is now is usually where I park my cars if it is in full. SPEAKER_01: So Okay. SPEAKER_01: So do you recall that's where you picked up your car from that night when you went to work? SPEAKER_02: Yep. SPEAKER_02: I had it pulled up onto that weird kinda crooked one off that side. SPEAKER_01: On the tar very similar to where it is. SPEAKER_01: Mhmm. SPEAKER_01: And do you recall when you parked that many when you got home? SPEAKER_02: When I got home, I'm pretty sure I parked para I did the parallel parking because I I I remember doing it because I think parallel parking is tedious, but I'm somewhat good at it. SPEAKER_02: Mhmm. SPEAKER_02: And so I I'm pretty sure I did it, and I only reason I'm pretty sure I did is because I think I was a little upset because they're parking funny around the the Saint Pillow parking lot too far out basically, but screwing up everyone else. SPEAKER_02: Someone else wears them. SPEAKER_02: But, yeah, I'm pretty sure I did park right there. SPEAKER_01: Is it do you ever park anywhere else within your complex? SPEAKER_02: Usually not. SPEAKER_02: Yeah. SPEAKER_02: Because it's just more convenient to walk the straight out to my car. SPEAKER_02: If I do, I I just go wherever I can find parking because usually there's backup on parking and there's just a lot of cars. SPEAKER_01: But you believe when you came home that day, you parked there for a while in front of your unit? SPEAKER_02: Probably not directly within my unit, but maybe one or two far. SPEAKER_01: Did it possibly park your vehicle around the corner No. SPEAKER_01: In the back? SPEAKER_02: Sadly, no. SPEAKER_02: Because I the only reason I think I would park it off the side is if I couldn't get my car up that hill because it's a nasty hill. SPEAKER_02: But SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: I'm not talking about on the hill up on the top. SPEAKER_01: Mhmm. SPEAKER_01: There's a if you go past your unit, they kind of like a fig area right there before you climb up to the building. SPEAKER_01: Mhmm. SPEAKER_01: Do you have a car's included in there? SPEAKER_02: I do sometimes. SPEAKER_02: I I haven't in a while, though, because of my car is so stuck, and so I've I usually don't like parking up there because I have to walk up that hill so I go up. SPEAKER_02: It's it's at a flat point. SPEAKER_02: Right? SPEAKER_00: Kinda the mid ones. SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: Not all the way up. SPEAKER_01: At your unit and the main room that just and it would be a building here that stands along the front of an area parked here. SPEAKER_01: And then the main driveway for your unit spins around it won't find that steep type raid. SPEAKER_01: I'm talking about that area before climbing. SPEAKER_02: Oh, no. SPEAKER_02: I never parked out there. SPEAKER_02: Molded? SPEAKER_02: No. SPEAKER_02: I'm always afraid of those for the apartment buildings and the house building people and I don't like, I try not to park there because I won't take anyone else's spot just because I can't get up my joke. SPEAKER_02: But SPEAKER_00: So do those guys or those tenants park over there? SPEAKER_02: Or I don't talk to anyone in the area. SPEAKER_02: I don't know any of the I I don't know. SPEAKER_02: But SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: That's no. SPEAKER_00: We dropped it because I think it might be easier to understand. SPEAKER_00: So, like, here's your building. SPEAKER_00: Okay? SPEAKER_00: And this is where cars park, and this is like where your car is right now. SPEAKER_02: Right. SPEAKER_00: And like this is your door, okay? SPEAKER_00: There's another building over here, and you come around and there's parking spots right here, and there's parking spots up here, and then you can continue around, and then there's more parking spots up here, around this building, because there's kind of that little breezeway. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: Do you do you ever park up here? SPEAKER_02: I do. SPEAKER_00: You do? SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_02: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: No worries. SPEAKER_02: Yeah. SPEAKER_02: I usually, because this is a parking lot I'd rather go to before having to go up here. SPEAKER_00: Gotcha. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_02: And so if if yeah. SPEAKER_02: I the only the only thing I could think of is if my car was parked here. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_01: The optimal about morning fifteen on your return from work that parked right there? SPEAKER_01: Possibly. SPEAKER_01: Usually, SPEAKER_02: I it is a possibility, but I usually put people gone by the time someone usually leaves when I leave or something or there's usually a spot available. SPEAKER_02: So I I I'm I'm pretty sure I did park along this way because that's what I do 95% of the time. SPEAKER_02: Mhmm. SPEAKER_02: And so I if I didn't, it'd probably just be back that way and stuff like that. SPEAKER_01: Does anybody else have that dyslexia? SPEAKER_01: No. SPEAKER_01: And at the time of the incident, we knew. SPEAKER_01: Did we know anybody at the time? SPEAKER_01: No. SPEAKER_01: No? SPEAKER_01: No, I don't know. SPEAKER_00: Hey, I mean, you said you were kind of like a nosy neighbor? SPEAKER_02: A little bit. SPEAKER_01: So what was the vibe like over at that house while this went down and then? SPEAKER_02: It seemed like it was kind of one of the college fray houses. SPEAKER_02: Something that from what I can tell, like, it was to say they were having I can from what I looked in, it just seemed like either someone was home all the time or someone is there's always either cars parked up there or they would have music playing and have a bunch of people over, and it was just yeah. SPEAKER_02: Kind of the whole vibe of that whole area was just kind of a bunch of parties and eat stuff like that. SPEAKER_00: Gotcha. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_01: What's a good phone number for SPEAKER_02: you? SPEAKER_02: Really SPEAKER_00: appreciate you coming down and meeting with us. SPEAKER_00: We sorry, we just did not want to do it because, I mean, the media, you know, that they see people talking and, you know, and they wanna go talk to that person, so. SPEAKER_02: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: No, I bet. SPEAKER_00: Well, SPEAKER_01: if you have any reason at all, then for the smallest thing, don't have the food to reach out to.
