SPEAKER_01: So this is everything from the hotel. SPEAKER_01: I've attached my JAM's information. SPEAKER_01: There is some stuff that we do remember from him being there. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_01: So he checked in. SPEAKER_01: We did update address did Pennsylvania address. SPEAKER_00: My god. SPEAKER_00: Oh, I slowed down here. SPEAKER_01: Just had some weird changes in the system, phone number change, address change. SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: Sorry. SPEAKER_00: Well, let's just step back real quick. SPEAKER_00: What position do you hold at SPEAKER_01: Quality? SPEAKER_01: I'm assistant GM. SPEAKER_01: Assistant GM? SPEAKER_00: Yes, sir. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: And how long have you worked there for? SPEAKER_01: Approximately eight months. SPEAKER_01: I did work there part time as housekeeper for about six months before that. SPEAKER_00: I'm sorry. SPEAKER_00: I missed that. SPEAKER_00: You've worked there for SPEAKER_01: how long now? SPEAKER_01: About eight months. SPEAKER_00: Eight months? SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: Alright. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_01: In this position? SPEAKER_01: As in general? SPEAKER_01: As GM. SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: And then I was just a part time housekeeper as a second job for approximately six months. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: Do you remember the date when you first had contact or first SPEAKER_01: Yes. SPEAKER_01: I do. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: What day was SPEAKER_02: that? SPEAKER_01: So that was the morning of July 1. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_01: He had checked in, and the girl that checked him in at the desk, you can see through the folio, had messed up quite a bit, overcharging, double charging, making huge mistakes, pissing him off. SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: So my first encounter with him was just trying to calm him down that next morning Okay. SPEAKER_01: Over all the charges and, you know, verifying everything has been corrected. SPEAKER_01: We do apologize. SPEAKER_01: We did get into further conversation if you'd like me to just SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: I mean, how was his demeanor when you first had contact SPEAKER_01: with Initially, very creepy. SPEAKER_01: Very, very creepy. SPEAKER_01: Almost numb, dead. SPEAKER_01: No emotion. SPEAKER_01: After thing, everything got situated and fixed with the reservations that are the, you know, the issues. SPEAKER_01: He then went into very, very nice. SPEAKER_01: I I actually compared him to Jim Jones. SPEAKER_01: Just yeah. SPEAKER_01: We then went into conversation over a girl who went to school. SPEAKER_01: I asked him what would you sit in town for, just completely trying to Sure. SPEAKER_01: Change. SPEAKER_01: That's what we're trying to do. SPEAKER_01: If we have a pissed off guest, what brings you into Pullman, you know, etcetera. SPEAKER_01: Right. SPEAKER_01: He then said that he was at at the Pullman WSU, sorry, criminal program. SPEAKER_01: Mhmm. SPEAKER_01: I have a front desk girl there. SPEAKER_01: It's actually, like, family to me. SPEAKER_01: So we started talking about and her you know, she's gonna be graduating. SPEAKER_01: We talked about Madison. SPEAKER_01: He had asked me to leave a set of key cards for a Madison, or you can just put Maddie. SPEAKER_01: My niece is Madison. SPEAKER_01: So we got into a conversation about, oh, my niece goes by Maddie. SPEAKER_01: She never did come back at the key cards. SPEAKER_01: They were still there the next morning I got there. SPEAKER_01: So it went through my night audit and my GM. SPEAKER_01: The three of us do remember those. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_01: We talked about sheaths, collecting knives. SPEAKER_01: I don't remember to what extent on that part. SPEAKER_01: I just remember thinking that my sheath that my sister gave me was probably more badass than he ever could have. SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: Just because. SPEAKER_01: I just talked to my she's no longer working with us who checked him in. SPEAKER_01: She does remember after him being completely irate, he kept coming up and down the stairs and just kinda checking her out and come back upstairs and come back downstairs and apologized for something that she couldn't remember and checking her out and going back upstairs. SPEAKER_01: And that was the far as far as with him. SPEAKER_01: I know I'm I'm rambling. SPEAKER_01: I'm trying to the past week and a half, just place all this shit together. SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: Long did we oh, I'm sorry. SPEAKER_00: Go ahead. SPEAKER_00: No. SPEAKER_00: Continue. SPEAKER_01: Never saw a second guest. SPEAKER_01: We did have two people on the reservation. SPEAKER_01: Never saw a second guest SPEAKER_00: with it. SPEAKER_00: Is that information in here? SPEAKER_01: Not so I can actually pull it up on my phone. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_01: The reservation itself, it was made through third party, Expedia, I believe it was. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_01: So everything was actually paid for. SPEAKER_01: And then the system, we have a Michael f Coburger junior, which I later learned was his dad. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: And he was in the system? SPEAKER_01: Used dad's in sis information to make this reservation third party. SPEAKER_01: So he didn't he he couldn't use his dad's card at our desk without a credit card authorization form or his dad being there. SPEAKER_01: So he did a third party. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_01: Again, do apologize for my anxiety. SPEAKER_00: No, ma'am. SPEAKER_00: It's okay. SPEAKER_01: And that's we're in the building, so it's gonna take a minute to load. SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: The Internet in here is not great. SPEAKER_01: It's yeah. SPEAKER_01: I've noticed it's it's pretty crappy. SPEAKER_01: So yeah. SPEAKER_01: I mean, I I've gone through this. SPEAKER_01: My GM as well has gone through this. SPEAKER_01: The one thing that remembers is the key card that said Maddie. SPEAKER_01: The one thing that my night audit remembers is that key card that said Maddie. SPEAKER_00: What is what are their names? SPEAKER_01: My and then this is my GM. SPEAKER_00: Can you spell was it? SPEAKER_01: M c. SPEAKER_01: I do not. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: That's fine. SPEAKER_00: And he is My night audit. SPEAKER_00: Night audit? SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_01: And so the keys were actually handed to him, leaving my shift, you know, and we just kinda, hey. SPEAKER_01: These were left here. SPEAKER_01: Go ahead and give them guess that it was okay. SPEAKER_00: She can enter the room. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_02: Now when you're talking about keys, are you talking about the cards? SPEAKER_02: Or is it a physical key itself, just like a regular car key or a room card key? SPEAKER_01: Card. SPEAKER_01: Key cards. SPEAKER_02: K. SPEAKER_02: Just verifying. SPEAKER_02: Sorry. SPEAKER_02: K. SPEAKER_00: And was that so did he when he first checked in, SPEAKER_01: he No. SPEAKER_01: This later. SPEAKER_01: This was later. SPEAKER_01: This was afterwards. SPEAKER_01: I wish I could get back to my cameras. SPEAKER_01: If you guys have a way to go back there, that'd be great. SPEAKER_01: We go back two months on our cameras. SPEAKER_00: Oh, okay. SPEAKER_01: That's fine. SPEAKER_01: So no. SPEAKER_01: It was later. SPEAKER_01: It was it was after check-in, and it was it was by my shift Okay. SPEAKER_01: That he had asked to leave the key cards there. SPEAKER_01: So Okay. SPEAKER_01: We're talking hours. SPEAKER_00: Right. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: But it was, like, the same day he checked in or Yeah. SPEAKER_00: Was it afterwards? SPEAKER_01: I wanna say it was the next morning. SPEAKER_01: I wanna say it was the next morning while we were having our whole conversation. SPEAKER_00: Because because some things got screwed up. SPEAKER_00: And so that's when SPEAKER_01: you check it. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_01: And if you if you look at quite a few errors that had to be corrected, she changed his rate, and it became a whole thing with with the the yeah. SPEAKER_01: She actually SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: So, yeah, he already paid, and then she charged him again and then changed his rate to a contractor's rate, and it just messed and messed and messed. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: I see. SPEAKER_01: Those were his signatures that he had used. SPEAKER_01: Did SPEAKER_00: he provide, like, some vehicle information? SPEAKER_00: Or yeah. SPEAKER_01: So this is all we ever ask for is make, model, color. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: Alright. SPEAKER_01: I was advised by another night auditor. SPEAKER_01: The gas station directly across the street from our hotel happens to be one of the biggest liquor stores in town. SPEAKER_01: They hold their cameras for a year. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: And that's right there. SPEAKER_00: And you guys are off of Bishop. SPEAKER_00: Right? SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: Alright. SPEAKER_00: So when after he kinda calmed down, what did your guys' conversation entail then? SPEAKER_01: It was literally so, you know, what brought you into town? SPEAKER_01: He said stated that he lived there. SPEAKER_01: K. SPEAKER_01: Which I was kinda like, okay. SPEAKER_01: Pennsylvania. SPEAKER_01: Whatever. SPEAKER_01: Why don't you have me change the address? SPEAKER_01: I'm not gonna argue with this guy anymore. SPEAKER_01: Done. SPEAKER_01: Change it. SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: We started talking about her probably about fifteen minutes in the program up there, she's graduating. SPEAKER_01: Mhmm. SPEAKER_01: Do they know each other? SPEAKER_01: He's not sure. SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: Conversation got turned to sheets collecting knives. SPEAKER_01: Again, I kinda really draw a blank there, and I go into my leather purple sheath. SPEAKER_01: Like and and I'm I'm really racking my brain. SPEAKER_01: Did he even pull one out? SPEAKER_01: I don't know. SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: We go into actually, he was heading out of the building. SPEAKER_01: He did turn around and come back. SPEAKER_01: So that was when he stated to leave the keys. SPEAKER_01: I don't remember him ever checking out. SPEAKER_01: I know I know the keys were there. SPEAKER_01: Don't ever remember printing him a receipt, how nice day. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_01: None of that. SPEAKER_01: The last that I I saw him was leaving of those keys. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: So as far as you know, nobody else had any contact with him? SPEAKER_00: Nobody had checked out? SPEAKER_01: Or Nobody remembers. SPEAKER_00: Nobody remembers? SPEAKER_01: No. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_01: So he did check out 1149. SPEAKER_01: 1149 stated that I checked him out, and I can't recall if it was because I knocked on the door. SPEAKER_01: It was because I knocked on the door. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_01: Alright. SPEAKER_01: So housekeepers were having an issue whether this guy was gonna check out or not knocking on doors. SPEAKER_01: I went up there and knocked on the door, and he was standing there with luggage in the hand. SPEAKER_01: Dora jarred. SPEAKER_01: I'm leaving now. SPEAKER_01: Right there. SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: Like, he was waiting. SPEAKER_01: So that is actually when he that was I was the last person to see him leave. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: Because check out's at noon? SPEAKER_01: Check out's at noon. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: Alright. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: And you guys do you guys normally go up there if they SPEAKER_01: If our housekeepers are doing nothing, standing around and waiting on guests and we don't have a d and d, we will knock and see if guests are still in house. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: Gotcha. SPEAKER_00: Alright. SPEAKER_00: Do you remember, I guess, his is there anything that you remember about him, like what he was wearing, like footwear, anything like that? SPEAKER_01: Black coat, for sure. SPEAKER_01: He was well dressed. SPEAKER_01: I remember he had a black coat on. SPEAKER_01: He had a long black coat on. SPEAKER_01: He was well dressed. SPEAKER_00: This was in July, and he had a black coat on? SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: Alright. SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: That was actually topic, and that was topic. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_00: Anything else that might have caught your attention? SPEAKER_01: I've been doing this for a week and a half. SPEAKER_01: Two weeks. SPEAKER_01: No. SPEAKER_01: Honestly, the the main thing the main main thing wasn't even, you know, knife talk or or any of that other shit that's now coming out. SPEAKER_01: It still doesn't even blow up in my head. SPEAKER_02: Mhmm. SPEAKER_01: It's a fucking key card. SPEAKER_01: And that he was so adamant that she was coming for this key card. SPEAKER_01: She will be here. SPEAKER_01: Make sure she gets it. SPEAKER_00: K. SPEAKER_01: She never showed up. SPEAKER_01: So that was that was kinda like, wow. SPEAKER_01: This was this was a huge thing for him, you know. SPEAKER_01: Wow. SPEAKER_01: And, you know, we're talking shit. SPEAKER_01: Co coworkers amongst coworkers. SPEAKER_01: Mhmm. SPEAKER_01: And then she never shows up. SPEAKER_01: I I want a piece of shit. SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: You know. SPEAKER_01: It was just kinda like, SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: You're a dickbag. SPEAKER_01: Honestly, I'm not even gonna SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: Sugarcoat what we said. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_00: Okay. SPEAKER_02: So checks this guy in, messes all of this stuff up. SPEAKER_02: Mhmm. SPEAKER_02: You brought something up initially about a girl. SPEAKER_02: Was that who you were talking about? SPEAKER_02: Was very one of the very first things you said there were there was a girl. SPEAKER_02: And maybe it's what you touched on later with Maddie. SPEAKER_02: I don't know if you remember that statement or not. SPEAKER_01: I think when I first started talking, it was talking about SPEAKER_00: Alright. SPEAKER_02: How many days did he stay at your guys'? SPEAKER_00: Oh, jeez. SPEAKER_01: Just one or two nights. SPEAKER_01: It will be on that. SPEAKER_00: Looks like he checked out the SPEAKER_01: first. SPEAKER_01: Mhmm. SPEAKER_01: So he checked in the thirty first one night? SPEAKER_01: He SPEAKER_00: booked it on the thirtieth? SPEAKER_00: Yeah. SPEAKER_00: It was total charged on the thirtieth. SPEAKER_01: If I could get in, I wanna say it was actually booked the fourteenth or the fifteenth. SPEAKER_02: Okay. SPEAKER_02: Okay. SPEAKER_02: So he booked it ahead of time planning this trip before he arrived. SPEAKER_02: He didn't just show up? SPEAKER_02: No. SPEAKER_02: No. SPEAKER_02: He just he walked? SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: No. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_01: It was a third party reservation booked. SPEAKER_01: I don't remember the exact date, but it was booked, you know, a week or so ahead of time. SPEAKER_01: Okay. SPEAKER_01: I wish I could get in my system here. SPEAKER_02: And you booked it for two people? SPEAKER_01: Yes. SPEAKER_01: Two, uh, people were on that reservation. SPEAKER_02: Okay. SPEAKER_02: But no one saw a second person with this individual at the time? SPEAKER_02: No. SPEAKER_01: No. SPEAKER_01: Only other person he ever mentioned was Madison, and he preferred Maddie. SPEAKER_02: Okay. SPEAKER_02: And who exactly is Hannah? SPEAKER_01: Hannah is another front desk. SPEAKER_01: She actually did just graduate that same program. SPEAKER_02: Which program was SPEAKER_01: that? SPEAKER_01: The criminology program, WSU. SPEAKER_02: Okay. SPEAKER_02: And How'd she come up into the conversation? SPEAKER_01: When I asked him what brought him in town, that he was up there at the criminology program, and I you know, that's just me kinda diverting. SPEAKER_01: Oh, we have a girl. SPEAKER_01: She's graduating and just trying. SPEAKER_01: You know, this guy's already being a dick back. SPEAKER_01: He's being rude, at cause of our front desk and overcharging. SPEAKER_01: It is my duty to put a smile on your face before you walk out my door. SPEAKER_02: Fair. SPEAKER_02: And so you bring up into this. SPEAKER_02: Okay. SPEAKER_02: Yeah. SPEAKER_02: You were you know, you guys are both going into the same program. SPEAKER_02: Do you know her? SPEAKER_01: Yes. SPEAKER_01: I did. SPEAKER_00: That type SPEAKER_01: of He doesn't stuff recall. SPEAKER_01: Yeah. SPEAKER_02: Doesn't recall. SPEAKER_02: Yeah. SPEAKER_02: But, um, he's there for the same program you're bringing up. SPEAKER_02: In that discussion, then you moved on from talking about the program that he's attending. SPEAKER_02: Was there anything else that sticks to mind outside the sheath and other stuff that comes to mind about that discussion? SPEAKER_02: The sheath. SPEAKER_02: Anything else sticking to mind? SPEAKER_01: Overcharging. SPEAKER_01: They're really besides updating updating a phone number. SPEAKER_01: Our Wi Fi our Wi Fi was down. SPEAKER_01: Something I will do when we have the crappiest Wi Fi in our building. SPEAKER_01: I will offer my hotspot. SPEAKER_01: I offered him my hotspot on my SPEAKER_00: phone. SPEAKER_00: K. SPEAKER_01: He was one of the only people. SPEAKER_01: He was, in fact, the only person to complain about our Wi Fi that day. SPEAKER_01: So just to shut him up and not complain or not argue that our Wi Fi is working fine today, I offered my hotspot. SPEAKER_01: I don't believe he actually did use my hotspot. SPEAKER_01: That's another thing that's SPEAKER_02: Is there a way for you to verify that? SPEAKER_02: Did he take information down for accessing No. SPEAKER_01: And that's why I think I don't actually shared it with him. SPEAKER_01: Is there a way to go back and see who you shared your hotspot with? SPEAKER_00: Have no idea. SPEAKER_00: I don't know. SPEAKER_00: You're a 100 I'm not that techie. SPEAKER_00: We have Neither SPEAKER_01: am I. SPEAKER_00: We have guys that would be able to tell us that for sure. SPEAKER_01: I don't believe I wanna say there's my entire time as AGM that I have had maybe three or four guests that I've shared that hotspot with. SPEAKER_01: Can I tell you, was Brian one of them? SPEAKER_01: I am sick enough. SPEAKER_02: But you remember at least off learning Yes. SPEAKER_02: It out to So you've gone through, and now you're kinda diverting the emotion from frustration, of being overcharged, mischarged, however that goes, and you guys are diverting that. SPEAKER_02: You've discussed his program. SPEAKER_02: Mhmm. SPEAKER_02: Who brought up the sheath? SPEAKER_01: That had to have been him. SPEAKER_01: Um, I am not somebody who, uh, shares information like that. SPEAKER_01: Uh, I did show him a self defense weapon that I I got through self defense course through martial arts. SPEAKER_02: Okay. SPEAKE
