SPEAKER_01: I I don't remember them being in the class of mine or anything.
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
SPEAKER_00: That makes sense.
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
SPEAKER_00: Alright.
SPEAKER_00: I did you well, you said you didn't know him.
SPEAKER_00: You hadn't spent any time with him outside of the process or anything like that?

SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
SPEAKER_02: Never ran into him on the street
SPEAKER_01: or anything?
SPEAKER_01: No.
SPEAKER_01: I mean, there's the the one thing I remember talking to the investigative reporter from the Idaho Statesman, like, last week or so.
SPEAKER_01: Okay.
SPEAKER_01: And he was wondering about, like, if I'd ever seen them around.
SPEAKER_01: And that area back there, I was telling him the same thing is that there's so many students and stuff when it's a normal, like, warm weather Yeah.
SPEAKER_01: Semester.
SPEAKER_01: I mean, it's possible I could have drove by and they were out somewhere one time or something, but I just can't, you know, recall really.
SPEAKER_01: Sure.
SPEAKER_01: But I never had any interactions or anything with them for sure.
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
SPEAKER_00: So and you bring that up.
SPEAKER_00: So now I'm just curious.
SPEAKER_00: So, yeah, reporters have been out, so I canvassing or knocking on
SPEAKER_01: doors or Yeah.
SPEAKER_01: Just kinda, um, I've noticed there's some of them are just kinda like waiting for people to park and then they're just assuming like, oh, you live here?
SPEAKER_01: Let me talk to you.
SPEAKER_01: Sure.
SPEAKER_01: Um, but that was, uh, Kevin.
SPEAKER_01: I can't remember his last name, though.
SPEAKER_01: Okay.
SPEAKER_01: Talked to him last week, but other than that, everybody's been pretty chill back there Good.
SPEAKER_01: To staying off the roads and stuff because it's getting kind of naughty back up, um, whipping ice and stuff.
SPEAKER_00: Yes.
SPEAKER_00: Is.
SPEAKER_00: I was actually just in your apartment's private calling and that Yeah.
SPEAKER_00: That's pretty nasty that little hill parking lot area.
SPEAKER_01: Oh, yes.
SPEAKER_01: I don't know what the grade is back there.
SPEAKER_01: That's crazy.
SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_01: The wintertime.
SPEAKER_00: Well, then actually the one above you Oh.
SPEAKER_00: Where it comes to that S corner.
SPEAKER_00: I will imagine people end up in your apartment
SPEAKER_01: Oh, totally.
SPEAKER_01: Beautiful.
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
SPEAKER_01: A couple years ago.
SPEAKER_01: That's exactly yeah.
SPEAKER_01: People were coming down there, and it was just too slick.
SPEAKER_01: You slide, slide, slide until you can't go anywhere, you just kind of go off a little derm.
SPEAKER_00: Oh, man.
SPEAKER_00: Alright.
SPEAKER_00: Well, anything that I haven't asked that you might think is useful or wish to know about?
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
SPEAKER_01: I don't think so.
SPEAKER_01: The only thing I was thinking about this just after I had got that call today, and I don't know how many of the neighbors you guys have really talked to as far as, like, the Queen Road, all those apartments.
SPEAKER_01: Mhmm.
SPEAKER_01: But I know, like, person who lives right next to me, I've never seen them before.
SPEAKER_01: Okay.
SPEAKER_01: But other than that, I don't I know there's nothing I can really think of.
SPEAKER_01: Okay.
SPEAKER_01: I when all of this happened, I was talking to my mom and stuff on the phone trying to think, like, when I was coming off that drive, you know, early in that morning, I didn't notice anything or see anything out of the ordinary.
SPEAKER_01: Sure.
SPEAKER_01: The same thing in the morning when I took my trash down on the road, it was just so quiet.
SPEAKER_01: Um, and I just remember seeing all the trash and stuff there, and I don't know if if that had been emptied immediately after all that stuff happened.
SPEAKER_01: But I know that there was a report or something that the police had kinda went through trash and stuff.
SPEAKER_01: But I remember throwing my trash in there just going, Jesus, somebody's gonna fucking pick this up.
SPEAKER_00: But Yep.
SPEAKER_01: I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary, you know Yeah.
SPEAKER_01: That I normally went on a a Sunday morning.
SPEAKER_01: You know?
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
SPEAKER_00: And you have a free meeting.
SPEAKER_00: You know, when did you say you threw your trash in there?
SPEAKER_01: This this would have been about probably 9AM or 09:30 or something like Okay.
SPEAKER_01: Something like that early when I got up.
SPEAKER_02: So what time do you think you came home?
SPEAKER_01: From doing, like, grocery shopping
SPEAKER_02: and stuff?
SPEAKER_02: No.
SPEAKER_02: Before that.
SPEAKER_02: So you said you were out at the bars and waited to see
SPEAKER_01: This would have been probably close to 03:00 in the morning.
SPEAKER_00: K.
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
SPEAKER_00: If I were to say that we had seen your vehicle in there around, uh, 02:48AM.
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
SPEAKER_00: That makes sense.
SPEAKER_00: Is that right?
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
SPEAKER_00: Alright.
SPEAKER_00: That makes sense.
SPEAKER_00: Cool.
SPEAKER_02: Okay.
SPEAKER_02: Just out of curiosity, since you live so close, that house typically pretty pretty well, by the with a lot of parties?
SPEAKER_01: They're usually it's it's very busy, that house.
SPEAKER_01: And then the ones that are at the end of King Road, that, like, little, I don't know, cul de sac or whatever you wanna call it, that one's usually just popular with people.
SPEAKER_01: So that one and then the one that was a newer build, it's kind of, like, adjacent to that one that nobody's been really there since all that's happened.
SPEAKER_01: Okay.
SPEAKER_01: And as far as I know, it's all undergrad students and stuff that live back there.
SPEAKER_01: But on the weekends and I told the reporter this too because he was wondering about the frequency of parties and stuff.
SPEAKER_01: I said, usually, it's like stuff starts, like, Thursday night, and it just goes all weekend until you just don't hear nothing on Sunday because everybody sleeps in or whatever.
SPEAKER_01: Yep.
SPEAKER_01: But that's in my experience.
SPEAKER_01: I've looked back there for this is coming up on that I looked back there, it's just the same.
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
SPEAKER_01: Whether the students are coming in and out or if it's the same students or whatever, it's just the environment back there is that's how it's always been.
SPEAKER_01: And it's so weird now.
SPEAKER_01: It's just so quiet back there.
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
SPEAKER_00: But, yeah,
SPEAKER_01: I would imagine, like, if anybody's telling you that those houses are, like, not that, it's just not the case.
SPEAKER_01: Okay.
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
SPEAKER_01: You could yeah.
SPEAKER_01: If I don't know how many people you guys have talked to in that apartment complex, but they'd probably tell you the same thing.
SPEAKER_01: It gets a little rowdy back there.
SPEAKER_01: But
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
SPEAKER_00: We we've got a little bit of a mixed message, but the majority of people kind of Sure.
SPEAKER_00: Tend to be like, I mean, it's college.
SPEAKER_00: What do you expect?
SPEAKER_00: Which yeah.
SPEAKER_01: I mean, that's definitely Yeah.
SPEAKER_01: It's part of it.
SPEAKER_00: You know?
SPEAKER_00: Part of the experience.
SPEAKER_00: So okay, awesome.
SPEAKER_00: So let me ask you what type of you said you're an Yeah.
SPEAKER_00: Two.
SPEAKER_00: Excellent.
SPEAKER_00: Excellent.
SPEAKER_00: Well, I gotta ask because I can hear hear the accent a bit.
SPEAKER_00: So where are you from?
SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_01: So you hear it.
SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
SPEAKER_00: Excellent.
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
SPEAKER_01: That's a I read all my students, they comment the same thing when I start talking.
SPEAKER_01: Yep.
SPEAKER_01: There are certain phrases I have too.
SPEAKER_01: They're like, I don't what is that?
SPEAKER_01: Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_01: I remember I said something about, like, the night before Halloween one time about being, like, devil's night.

SPEAKER_00: And I go,
SPEAKER_01: you guys don't do that?
SPEAKER_01: They're like, no.
