CONCLUSIONS AND INTERPRETATIONS:

Results from presumptive chemical tests for the presence of blood were negative on Items 66 and 67.

Items 68 and 69 were visually examined; no stains consistent with blood were observed.

Items 66, 67, 68, and 69 were swabbed for DNA collection.

Item 67.1 was sampled for DNA collection.

Items 57 through 65 were examined only for the purpose of sampling for DNA analysis.

DISPOSITION OF EVIDENCE:

A portion of Items 57 through 65, 66.1, 67.1 through 67.5, 68.1, and 69.1 was forwarded for DNA analysis. Results will follow in a separate report. Items 66, 68, and 69 were left in the custody of Forensic Scientist Tina Walthall pending latent fingerprint processing. All remaining items have been returned to the main laboratory evidence vault pending DNA analysis.
