Adams St., Moscow, Idaho, to assist with collection of photographs, buccal swabs, friction ridge exemplars and hair samples from one subject, BRYAN KOHBERGER. We were accompanied by Gideon Roberts (Idaho State Police, District 2) and Travis Shirley (Federal Bureau of Investigation). Also present were Anne Taylor (Kootenai County Public Defender's Office) and associates, as well as Latah County Jail personnel. FS Martinez photographed BRYAN KOHBERGER's person for overall identification and condition. FS Martinez collected two simultaneous buccal swabs from the mouth of BRYAN KOHBERGER. FS Martinez and I collected friction ridge exemplars of the fingers and palms of BRYAN KOHBERGER (2 inked fingerprint cards and 10 sheets of adhesive lifts). FS Martinez collected plucked hair samples from four areas of the head and arms of BRYAN KOHBERGER (one sample each from the front of the head, back of the head, right arm, and left arm). We cleared the Latah County Jail at approximately 1517 PST. All collected items were turned over to Tim Smalldridge (Moscow Police Department) on January 5, 2023, at approximately 1530 PST. Digital images were transferred to Jeffory Talbott (Idaho State Police, District 2) on January 5, 2023, at approximately 1543 PST. FS Martinez uploaded images to the digital imaging system on January 6, 2023. Digital images are being retained by ISP Forensic Services.
